:( Hi (Bonjour),
After upgrading, on CCleaner web site, my french v. 1.36.430 (that worked perfectly), to french v. 1.41.0.544, the "Cleaner" function does not work.
Each time I run it, I get this message: "Clear History Error: Can't find DLL entry point Clear History in CCleaner.DLL".
The "Issues" function seems working correctly, but it has not been able to repair the above mentionned problem.
My PC works with Windows XP/SP2 and all the prioritary recommanded Windows updates are done.

Could, someone, tell me WHAT to do and HOW (I'm not an expert) to repair the problem???
Many thanks in advance. Radeau.

This is an error that I have not seen mentioned before with CCleaner.

Perhaps you could try to uninstall and then reinstall to see if that helps.

Did you save CCleaner in your ordinary program files?
Is everything you are trying to clean on the same drive as CCleaner is installed on?

Are your visual basic files up to date?

:rolleyes: Thank you very much, Hazelnut. Uninstalling then reinstalling have worked perfectly.
Regarding the other two points in your answer:
- all is in the same drive as Cleaner is installed;
- visual basic files: I don't find anything in my PC (after using the search function) regarding visual basic.
Best regards
