Hello All!
I am new in the forum, and desire to report the following problem:
CCleaner does not repair or eliminates the found items when analyzing the registries in Windows. I make the procedure normal:
1) to analyze problems in the system and,
2) to repair/to eliminate problems, previous backup.
However, when repeating the procedure, it returns to show the problems already found previously (7 times I repeated the action with identical result), in summary it does not eliminate or it cannot eliminate by some cause. My “Windows” is “Vista Home BASIC”. I consulted to Support of Microsoft and they informed to me that it could be a problem of compatibility with the Operating system Vista. Can be certain this?
It is not the first time that use CCleaner, before did under Windows Xp and everything works well.
Is a problem with Windows Vista? , Is a problem of knowing how to config CCleaner?, Somebody could help to clarify this me?
In the described procedure, one does not take place any error nor message of error of Windows.
I am using the version: 1.41.544
I will thank for any Aid

Try right clicking the CCleaner shortcut and running as administrator.
Or Disable UAC

Hi
THANKS FIRERYONE !!!!
Thanks for your answer and indications. Use “Try right clicking the CCleaner shortcut and running as administrator “and everything was perfect.
Now if I could remove all the found items.

Confirmed it on 3 seperate PC's. They all show like 20+ issues that oddly despite CC saying "resolveD" they show up again.
The 2.0 Beta fixes this.. however, a few people such as myself on Vista (i'm on vista x64) have issues with it removing the cookies from IE7 , and my issue goes further. It actually can't remove any temp internet files from IE7 (32bit version.. 64bit IE sucks massively
