Windows and passwords

This is more of a query than a bug. Recently Windows has stopped remembering passwords. Even when I tick the box when prompted, "Do you want Windows to remember this password etc" it fails to do so. It has been suggested that this may be down to cleaning software. Can CCleaner cause this? any other ideas JF

This may happen if you have auto complete form history checked in the windows tab under internet explorer.

Also to manage your cookies go into options>cookies, highlight the ones you want to keep in the delete column and use the middle arrow to transfer them to the keep column.
