v. 1.41.0.544 crash in W98SE

Hi,
I, m sorry for my english... ;)
PC PIII 733 MHz, 128MB Ram, 28 GB HDD (C: 16 GB + D: 12 GB).
I dowloaded the new version, but when I click "Run Cleaner" the program crash and appear the window alert " This program has execute an invalid ...". :o
What I can do? Is W98SE the problem?
Any suggestion?

Have you had CCleaner on your computer before?

Can you give the exact error message?

It's misteriously strange.
The user's PC is my daughter (it'seventeen)
This aftenoon I've tried many times, and everytimes the windows alert appeared.
She defraged the 2 partition (C and D) and now there is no problem !!!
