Running Windows XP Pro and Outlook Express.
I don't get notifications of a new version of CCleaner.
What's blocking the notification?

Wife's machine running Windows 98 gets the
notification of a new version.

Thanks for any help.

If you've got it set to 'Automatically check for updates' in Options>Settings then it may be your firewall blocking it.

I'm not using the Windows Firewall.
Mine is in the modem from BellSouth.

I do have it set to check for updates in options.

Thanks for your reply.

My wife gets notification of a new update in Outlook Express email.
She is running Windows 98 2nd ed. I don't, running Windows XP Pro
and Outlook Express. We both have the same firewall in the BellSouth modem.

Thanks for helping,

That will be the early update notification sent to users who have donated.
If you both use different email accounts only the one used to donate will get the email.
