VocALign replacement?

i need a free piece of software similar to VocALign, anybody have any good ones?

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Having just had a quick look at what exactly it does according to their site....

To use VocALign you need to select a segment of audio to use as the guide from one track and one or more channels of Dub audio from other tracks. The Guide and Dub audio may also come from different positions the editors timeline. The resulting Aligned audio must then be placed into a target track at a position calculated by VocALign so that it is aligned in time with the Guide audio. Nether the VST, Audio Unit or Direct X interfaces allow a plug-in to be created that can work this way.

I take it you must have had a try at the demo and liked it.

Well I had a quick Google and found the same question on some other forums and no-one had any suggestion of a freeware alternative unfortunately (maybe someone who knows the area better may have a suggestion though)
