Just wondering if anyone else has these in "issues to delete" after the windows updates.

Noticed there are 2 KB items, which are microsoft updates.

Could be they are just being uninstalled on microsoft's say so after the net framework security update.

Just delete 'em. I think you can delete all that CCleaner founds. It's kinda safe in these things.

Me too. I rarely question what CCleaner finds anymore as its never deleted a reg entry that has caused a problem.

Only got some of them Hazel. Deleted them.

This thread gives me the opportunity to raise a point about .net framework.

I've got net framework 1.1, 1.1 hotfix, net framework 2, and net framework 3, and I've wondered for some time if all versions are required.

Been googling around for a while tonight, (nothing on the tv worth watching), and the nearest thing to an answer was this article.

Quote

The .NET Framework 3.0 is the next generation of the .NET Framework that sits on the top of the previous version. It introduces some additional features, and in this article Hima discusses these features in detail.

Link:

The answer appears to be yes, we need 'em all.

Yup, from MS "Version 3.0 enhances version 2.0 with new technologies". I've never bothered installing it and don't intend to until something complains it won't work without it :D

I got some of those entries too and removed them right away. I always run CCleaner's Issues scanner after Windows Updates anyways because sometimes there's some invalid registry data that appears after the updates.
Complexity of incoherent design.
