Whilst using msn, a window opened from a friend asking me to click on a link. i stupidly did this, and it forced me to install photo231.exe - even thought i clicked on cancel, it still installed. How can i get rid of this? It does not let me log onto msn now, and i'm worried it may have affected other parts of laptop. if you could help id be really grateful!

That link does not work???

Here is another link to a anti-malware guide:

Nvm, it works now. I tried for 5 minutes and it would not load. Then I tried 10 minutes later and it worked. Must be this dodgy wireless connection <_<

I am sorry to disagree with you but the link to rridgelys guide works fine for me.

The poster has come here for help, not to be redirected to a different site to post a log.

Would someone else like to try the link please?
