Have just found this site, read about CCleaner, downloaded it ,ran it, deleted what seemed like half the world. Is it just imagination or does my system seem a wee bit quicker?

It will perform better without the junk on it.
If it isn't broke, tweak it.

more hard disk space will run faster... in additional without malwares will be better...
