Hey everyone. I just got a new hd, and I had to format. I forgot how to remove and disable messenger. I then remembered to unhide all folders, then go to c:windows\inf then open sysoc.inf and change it from "msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,HIDE,7" to "msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,,7", which allows you to see messenger in add/remove components. However it will not let me uncheck the box, any suggestions?

I've seen that page before, and it doesn't help. Like you should be able to uncheck the box in add/remove components after you unhide it, but it won't let me for some reason.
