It would be great to have an official U3 version of CCleaner which could then be installed on U3 capable USB memory sticks.

We use to have an unofficial version for the U3, but for unknown reasons he stopped doing it. If anyone is willing, contact me I will host it.

You are thinking about the old version posted above, this is the NEW version of CCleaner.

Welcome to the Piriform Forums KevinA! :) I see you've got yourself a nice support site for CCleaner yourself and explain things very well, nice work, and I hope you stick around on the forums! ;)

Thanks for that.
Mine is working fine.
Loads fast compared to my old CCleaner (2.04).

I noticed a _MACOSX folder.
I didn't even know that they made U3 for the Mac OS X.
Do they?

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION
DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)
ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Thanks Andavari!

Congrats on a great set of apps, we recommend them to all of our clients and use them every day. The guy who built the U3 package factory app at eure.ca is actually a good friend of mine, and gave me a special version of the packager that gets around some of the nigglies in packaging for .u3p. I did up Recuva and Defraggler as well, added them to that same page.

I'm also a closet mac user at home, and used Virtualbox from Sun to zip it up, guess it added some extra meta. All fixed now!
