Can you select each option within Issues individually and let me know under which one it returns the error?

Man was I glad I came across this post. I've had the same problem,
and since there has'nt been a reply yet I'll give you the info.

Using v1.19 The "13: Type mismatch" error occurs when scanning
Registry Integrity when 'Installer' is checked. Problem goes away
when unchecked but I like that little green mark and it's driving me
batty.

In my case when "ActiveX and Class Issues" is checked do I get the 13:Type mismatch error.

I found this post in a search and seem to be having the same type of problem on one of my computers. When I go to Tools than Uninstall I get the 13:Type Mismatch error. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled a new copy and still get the error. Any suggestions? Right npw everything else works fine by the Uninstall menu does not load.

I see that was listed as fixed in version 1.19.108

Quote

CCleaner 1.19.108

- Added Portuguese (Brazil) and Finnish languages.
- Fixed IE Autocomplete History shutdown problem.
- Fixed Type Mismatch error in Issue scanner. <--
- Fixed error in saving options under a restricted account.
- Added support for HKEY_USERS (HKU) in ini files.
- Fixed Real Player cleaning.
- Changed MS Office cleaning (again).
- Minor display tweaks.

But the error seems to be reported after the fix.

Thanks fireryone for the response. The version I am running is the current one, v1.38.485 so there is still a problem. I e-mailed Piriform hoping for a suggestion from them but have not received response. I like the program and will cntinue to use the other features but would really like to know what is causing this problem on only 1 of my computers. Guess I should not complain since the program is free.

Most of us will take it as bug reporting, not complaining.

You could just run a pre-1.19 version on that machine until the problem is fixed.
see filehippo.com for old versions of CCleaner.com.
