mnbvcxz
Ccleaner says there's a couple gb to clean. When I run ccleaner, it skips over C:\Windows\Logs\CbsPersist...log. I'd really like to get that space back if it's not essential to keep it.
Moderators hazelnut Posted February 4, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 4, 2016 What operating system are you using, and what size are the CBS logs? Is your pc running okay otherwise? Moderators hazelnut Posted February 4, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 4, 2016 Have a read here which may help you understand what this is and why the log is growing and how to delete it. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/997105d3-834c-48c0-929d-20389a0ed0f3/cbspersistlog-can-delete?forum=winservermanager. Have you actually tried putting the 'persist log' as an include in Ccleaner? http://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/using-ccleaner/including-files-and-folders-for-cleaning Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
mnbvcxz
I don't have time to do a bunch of stuff like that, so I went ahead and hit my motherboard a few times with a ball-peen hammer. Everything works now. Thanks!
