Moderators Nergal Posted April 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 13, 2014 if i'm not mistaken, winapp.ini is hardcoded into ccleaner new ccleaner = new winapp.ini Correct ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Winapp2.ini
You may still have winapp.ini in your folder if you have been running CCleaner on the same computer for a very long time, or have installed a particuarly older version, but since either later version1 or early v2, winapp.ini has been integrated into ccleaner.exe winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
