jan100
Hello, It seems that an exclusion of certain (or all files) in the following folder is not possible: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations Is this a bug or is there any way to get this solved? Thank you very much in advance!
dvdbane
what i did was paste AutomaticDestinations path into the exclude explorer then i am able to access AutomaticDestinations folder if using windows explorer, Recent is not visible, replace by Recent Item using 7-zip explorer, its detect Recent
jan100
What I mean is that CCleaner deletes all files in AutomaticDestinations even when AutomaticDestinations folder or Recent folder or a specific file there is on exclusion list. I use the newest version (4.12.4657) of CCleaner.

jan100
Can you please check if CCleaner deletes the files in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations if you add that path to exclusion list? Thanks.
dvdbane
exclusion work just fine...tested with both Custom and AutomaticDestinations folder and file exclusion just make sure the entry look like this C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations\*.* i don't think ccleaner by default detect Custom and AutomaticDestinations unless you're using winapp2.ini just untick Recent Items More* then you no need to exclude the folder
jan100
For me it even deletes all files in AutomaticDestinations when it is on exclusion list and recent documents is not selected. It seems that it is only deleted if Taskbar Jump List is selected.
