CCleaner registry scan vs other reg scanners

I've been using wisecare 365 reg scan for a few months, and I've now tried the CCleaner reg  scan.

I get 2 greatly different results. the wise reg scan finds 0, 1 or 2 problems. none of the find were significant problems.

CCleaner finds 64 problems. I haven't deleted any registry items. I've been using CCleaner to delete files for quite a few years,

but never tried the registry cleaner until the other day. I do not believe I have 64 registry problems (I hope I don't).

My question is why the discrepancy ?

I can't find what filters CCleaner or wise 365 uses to determine a registry problem.

I am using Win7, at the latest upgraded level.

Thank you for any replies.

Ccleaner is a gentle registry cleaner, most other products are more aggressive and much more likely to create trouble for your computer

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Also, whatever reg cleaner you use, make sure it will save backups, to a folder you can remember, and only clean one item at a time.

That's in Nergal's signature, but it is worth restating.

The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)

Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers.
