(this is not a debate on the goodness of java, some people have web-apps that require it this this just a warning to those poeple to check and make sure they're not running an old (insecure) version as well as the new 7)
DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

Java is on my shortlist of things I want to go away. Flash is in its own list, however.

Also previous versions (at least the 32bit update 4) can't be uninstalled properly.

Doesn't help, also removed every "java"-file and registry entry, still no luck.
GG Java.

If it is only a couple try re-installing that particular version, rebooting, and then uninstall it.
Sometimes if versions have been installed on top of another version ''strange things can happen''

Don't know if the current 64bit works correctly, I can see it under Windows Add/Rmove, but not in RevoUninstaller.
What's also weird is that CCleaner still shows Java 7 Update 4 installed even though I've (at least tried) uninstalled it in different ways. CCleaner also shows 7u5 64bit.
Edit: "Uninstalled" Java 7 Update 4 with CCleaner, it doesn't really remove it because if I refresh the "Uninstall"-section in CCleaner it immediatly comes back.
Also it seems I can remove Java 7u5 64bit normally, but not sure if it uninstalls correctly. It doesn't reappear in CCleaner after uninstall.
