I have been using ccleaner for more than 5 years and have never had any problems with it. I would like to recommend that if ccleaner doesn't find applicaitons such as google toolbar installed that it remove it from the registry so that the windows stops trying to load the update service.

The "information" below appears in the application log over and over, even when the google application is installed correctly and continues even after the application (in this case google toolbar) is uninstalled properly.
