Windows 10 issues

Hello, I am new to this forum however I have been a loyal user of Ccleaner for some years and have recommended it to many. Recently my friends Dell laptop automatically updated to Windows 10 and as normal I installed Ccleaner on her machine. As soon as I did a registry clean the laptop would not load Windows and I got the dreaded "kernel auto boost aquisition "error. This required a full reset before Windows would load again.

I am puzzled as I use Windos 10 myself and have loaded it onto other laptops without difficulty. The only difference is the ages of the laptops, the problem one being a good big older then the others.

Can anyone tell me what the issue is here?

The issue would probably be something cleaned in the registry, just because it worked without an issue on one machine doesn't mean it won't cause issues on another.

On Win10 machines I personally leave the registry cleaner portion alone.
