antonio2501 Posted December 15, 2014 Share Posted December 15, 2014 i'm using the wipe free space option to do a deep clean and it's telling me it's removing 600GB of data. is this right? my HDD is 2 TB and has 595GB of free space left. i don't understand how it can remove so much data if it's being used. is the app wiping my HDD? Moderators Augeas Posted December 16, 2014 Moderators Share Posted December 16, 2014 Yes. It 'wipes' the drive by filling all the unallocated space with zero-fill files, then deletes them.
