Oregon
Possibly a recent change in Internet Explorer has removed the task bar from view whenever I access a web page through IE. I find this very annoying. With help from HP technical support, settings were changed to allow the task bar to always be visible. After that change, I ran Registry Cleaner, as I do from time to time. After running Registry Cleaner, those changes which allow the task bar to show were gone. Again I have no access to the icons on the task bar whenever using Internet Explorer. How can I restore those settings which the Registry Cleaner removed? I did make a backup within Registry Cleaner before I ran it. How can I access and return to the conditions before running Registry Cleaning? Many thanks for help with this. Joan in Idaho
Moderators mta Posted October 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 13, 2014 find the .REG backup file created by CC and if you double click it, all the entries it backed up will be restored. if you don't want all the entries restored, you can edit the file with any Text Editor program to cull it down to only the entry you require. or you can go into RegEdit and Import that .REG file.
