Moderators mta Posted January 29, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 29, 2015 some obvious causes may include; how badly fragmented is it? have you turned off your AV software? did you stop VSS? did you exclude restore points and hibernation file? what are your system resources; ram, cpu? did you run CC first so as not to defrag crap/temp files and to empty the recycle bin? some other questions; 120gig is an unusual drive capacity, is it a SSD? also try running DF from Safe Mode so no other background task come into play. Backup now & backup often.It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
