Sandman65
When I set defragler to optimize my ssd half way through the process defragler crashed. This resulted with me losing valuable SSD space which I don't know how to get back. If anyone hear can help me I will be forever in you debt!!!! Sandman65
Solved my problem. You have to delete the bin files that are created which are located in the home folder of the Drive
Moderators mta Posted June 28, 2014 Moderators Share Posted June 28, 2014 I take it you have read up on all the pro's and con's of defragging a SSD? (in fact there are no pro's) Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Moderators Augeas Posted June 29, 2014 Moderators Share Posted June 29, 2014 From my rapidly fading memory, isn't the Defraggler 'Optimize' a zero fill wipe free space?
