Gavinj
Good evening, After running a defrag on my win7 64bit computer I now have a 139GB restore point. I deleted it and made sure the correct setting are selected in Defraggler and gave it another go, it did the same thing again. Now my HDD is extremely messy my computer is running slow and the only way I can run a defrag without this occurring is to disable System protection. Does anyone know if it's just a bug in the new version I have been using Defraggler for years and this has not happened to me before. The HDD is only 4 months old so it can't be that. Cheers, Gavinj. Moderators mta Posted April 14, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 14, 2015 what DF version? did you tick the option to exclude Restore Point file, Hibernation file and Stop VSS? Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
