eit Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 using recuva we have recovered from the drive about 56 gb but nothing is in usable/viewable format. what we have expected is recuva would recover files as such Msword format, Msexcel formats, jpeg formats but it hasnt happened. Moderators mta Posted June 13, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2015 it would all depend on many, many factors; the important one being the state of the drive, the usage the drive since deletion and the way the files were deleted. Recuva is not a magic bullet solution sadly. can you provide more info, such as, Windows and Recuva versions, hard drive file system, internal/external, how deleted, what Recuva options you tried, status of the flies as reported by Recuva. (and so on and so on - more info means better help) Backup now & backup often.It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data.
