djf863000
I downloaded Hirens 15.2 this week. My last Hirens I downloaded was a long time ago. I wanted to run Western Digital program in dos, but cannot find it on the 15.2 version. Which is the latest version of hirens what still had that tool? eL_PuSHeR
By the way. I think HBCD is discontinued. It's been a long time since an update.
Moderators hazelnut Posted May 22, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 22, 2015 It may have been quite a while since 15.2 was released but it is still a cd I wouldn't like to be without. nodles
You could use Ultimate Boot CD (UBCD) instead. Link: https://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ Last update on 2 May 2015
Derek891
Hello djf863000 - hazelnut is correct, the WD tools are on Hiren's Boot CD, you just have to go to "DOS Programs" > "#6 - Hard Drive Tools", then use "#8 - More . . ." to get to the second page where they're located. I have Hiren's on both a CD and a USB flash drive, and it's a very handy collection of little utilities to have available when things go wrong. Start every day with a smile and get it over with. - W.C. Fields
