They where marked with a red dot when the where scanned with the deed scan.

Tried to open the files with PhotoShop. Paint. Picassa.

the pictures where deleted from a SD 8gb card.

Recuva was able to recover them in the deep scan mode. they were marked with a red dot and no thumbnail was viable.

It is now on my computer' but could not view the pictures with Photoshop nor paint, not picassa...

Can any one suggest a way to re-live these pictures?

thanks

superfast while I do appreciate you're trying to help, but in the future leave it to moderators to suggest alternative softwares, else it starts a bad precedent for other members

thanks

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

This may be a long shot, but IrfanView can display damaged images where other software fails. But I'll emphasise it depends on the condition of the files, it can't work it's magic on everything.

IrfanView:

If IrfanView can display any of your faulty images, then save each of them off from within IrfanView as a new image.

I would also have a look at SF's suggestion above as "PhotoRec" scans for files in a way unique to itself (apparently), and is maybe worth a shot. Probably a long shot, but again worth a try.
