Antoinette
I've been happy with CCleaner for a couple of years. I just downloaded version 5.05 and now I am afraid to run it because I don't know what it will do. I have Windows 7 and Firefox 38.0.1. If I have "Internet Explorer/Temporary Internet Files" it wants to clean/delete all of my Firefox cookies, and other stuff I don't want cleaned. What do I do? How do I clean the temporary internet files without cleaning the cookies? Thanks in advance for any help.

Moderators Nergal Posted May 25, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 25, 2015 Both tabs (system and applications) are cleaned when running cleaner ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
