Moderators Nergal Posted April 22, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 22, 2014 Hi all just to head off questions or excitement. It seems Microsoft has finally become wise and is storing update installers and junks in c:\windows\temp. this is great news, but also means it'll take longer for ccleaner to clean that folder. I'm not sure if this is just for u1 or from here forward. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators Andavari Posted April 23, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 23, 2014 Failed installers if I'm remembering correctly don't get deleted from the User Temp folder, located under user profiles.
