Angie Stone
What's my risk in running CCleaner on my Macbook Pro, if I have absolutely no idea what it's deleting? I'm running OS10.6.

Angie Stone
Thank you. I'll run a backup beforehand, but that "minimal" word makes me feel better.
Moderators Nergal Posted July 29, 2012 Moderators Share Posted July 29, 2012 you should be able to press analysis and look at the details before a clean now in cc for MAC if I recall ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
