How to recover corrupted database file

I run MSDE on a Windows XP Server and i found that my database was marked as "suspect" by Enterprise Manager and its icon become gray.
I detach that database and try to re-attach it but there is an error as the following:

Error 3624:
Location : page.cpp:2801
Expression: rowLength >= offset + deleteLenght
SPID : 56
Precess ID:1612

After that, I uninstall the MSDE and re-install new MSDE SP4 and try to re-attach the database file again and there is still an error. I also encounter the same error with MS SQL 2000 Server
Remark: I have all the database file (database.mdf and database.ldf).

Is there anyway i can recover the data from that database?

What about restoring the database from the last known good backup?

You do backup don't you?

The post was a copy and paste from a post elsewhere on the web so his 'partner' could reply with a (paid) software that worked for him (see link in post 3)

Happens all the time, especially for databases and .pst files :)

OK.

I read the post from your link and just figured it was the same guy with different login names on different forums asking the same question.

Everything posted on this whole forum is suspect to me when it isn't specifically about Piriform software, and this is especially the case with new members who post only once. Now it's different if it's someone who's legitimately looking for help where they keep a topic alive when genuinely needing help - but that's rare for non-Piriform related topics.

 Another setupper... see here

Now you see how the set up spammers work. One posts and then a while later the other answers.

That's why most of these never see forum life because they get deleted soon after they post.

So now I'll lock this thread but leave it so people can see what these type of posts really are.
