Callaghan83
Hi there, i had an old Sony laptop which stopped working so i removed the hard drive to try and recover the data (mostly the old photos we have on it). I bought the communicator C1 to try and retrieve the data with no success. I then researched a little and came across piriform recur a to recover the data but whenever i try a scan on the device it comes up with no results and the text "invalid drive size". When i click on the properties of the HDD it says it is RAW format?? i thought there was only FAT32 and NTFS. not sure where to go from here now really. any help would be great. Pilzsuppe
Have you tried checking "Deep Scan" in the Recovery Wizard?
Alan_B
I suggest that you use Windows Disk Management to show all details of what can be seen of the Sony Laptop.
