JesperU
In the schedule option for Defraggler, there's "At Startup" and "At Logon". What's the difference between these two, and which one should I use of all 6 options? I daily install and delete chunks of data, so I guess I should defrag often? Moderators mta Posted July 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 19, 2015 when in doubt RTFM. found here; http://www.piriform.com/docs/defraggler/defraggler-settings/scheduler it may offer a guide on how to proceed. or better yet, best way to learn is experience. try selecting each setting and seeing how it effects things. the forum is made up of members just like you, people looking for answers and willing to share info. if you wait more than one day, eventually someone with the info you seek may see your request and respond. Moderators Nergal Posted July 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 19, 2015 If you only have one user on a PC there isn't much different between start-up and log in; startup will start defraggler's schedule when the computer turns on from being shut down (not sleep or hibernation) whether you are logged in or not. log in schedule will wait until you log in (enter the computer to the desktop after a shut down or sign out) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
