SebastianJu2
Hi, there was a thread in here that described how to set up ccleaner in order to clean out portable versions of firefox, thunderbird and chrome. At the moment ccleaner only asks for closing these software, when its open and ccleaner is running, though it doesnt clean them because they are stored in their own position. So what can i do to include them? And i dont want to simply specify directories that have to be cleared. Thanks! Sebastian
Moderators Nergal Posted June 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 16, 2015 Replace Firefox in these instructions with "Chrome" and (I think works) "Thunderbird". http://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/advanced-usage/ccleaner-ini-files/how-to-clean-user-data-from-non-standard-mozilla-browsers ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
