Multiple Desktop Pop Ups, like annoying antivirus.

Recommended Posts

Hello I was hoping Piriform could add in those annoying popups that seem to plague a bunch of software.

I'm getting one at start up, and then a couple asking to update but I think you could do better. There's also another that likes to show how much space I could be saving, usually a mb or 2.

Maybe I could refuse to update but you could keep asking, that way I get the chance to say no over and over.

   ------

Sorry for the sarcasm, things just came to a head today when I finally uninstalled the second to newest release, went back even further to reinstall something without auto monitoring and upgrade popups and thought someone might get a chuckle. -And yes of course I could have just upgraded/disabled these features and not run at startup, but taking the beast down by the ankle seemed more satisfying and effective.

Ccleaner doesn't have nags, I'm unsure what you are referring to

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

@superloser,

are you referring to the monitoring pop-ups?

as you state, these can be turned-off, which is what I believe most users are doing with that new feature.

Backup now & backup often.

most or many - whichever you deem means the majority. (but, as stated, that's just the feeling I get)
