joewmis
I use both CCleaner Pro and a product called Reimage Repair. When I use CCleaner to clean up my registry, (and I recently did a complete fresh reinstall of Windows 7 SP2), Reimage Repair winds up replacing a lot of files (it currently says there are 116 'issues' with my system software). After using Reimage Repair, then CCleaner finds things wrong. Does anyone else use both products? I'm inclined to use CCleaner daily; and then only launch Reimage Repair if I have a major issue. Reimage Repair: Reimage will Scan and Detect and Fix and Repair your PC by utilizing the follow features and benefits. Scan Reimage scans through your entire PC, uncovering information about your Windows Operating System in order to learn about your PC's Hardware, Stability, and Security Issues. Detect Reimage detects damage to your PC within the following areas: Security Threats: Malware, Viruses, and Trojans, Spyware. Hardware Issues: Low Memory, Hard Disk Speed, CPU Power and Temperature. The Scan recommends solutions for your Hardware Problems.
Moderators hazelnut Posted March 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2015 Firstly there is no SP2 for Windows 7. Secondly cleaning the registry constantly is not something to be recommended. Thirdly I wouldn't uses Reimage Repair on any machine I owned. http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-reimage-repair/ http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/protect_scanner-protect_scanning/how-to-uninstall-or-delete-reimage-repair-pluscom/353c90f3-19e8-4e99-8139-c5075a454441 http://www.pcthreat.com/parasitebyid-32852en.html Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
