CCleaner wiped the wrong drive?

Hi there,

I downloaded CCleaner to clear my external hard drive before I sent it back to Amazon for a new fully operational one.  So I checked one drive and it was definitely my external one... now after the wipe has been completed, I find my external drive wiped, but also my main hard drive for my laptop and I've lost everything!  Was something bugged here?

This seems unlikely as the drive wiper cannot and will not do a complete wipe on a drive running an active windows.

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
