Willy2 Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 - Windows 7 and newer have an additional registry hive called "Components", located in "C:\windows\system32\config". - Same story for a new hive called "Drivers" in Windows 10. When the user has told the latest version of DF to defragment a number of system files then these files aren't "touched" and not defragmented at all. I think this is a useful addition to the next version of DF !!! Are there more system files that can defragmented upon start up ???
