Borough Secretary
Running registry cleaner, do not know much at all about behind the scenes with computers. Just got the following for the first time. Anyone know what it is and if I can delete it or not? I am running windows 8.1 on a Dell AIO Optiplex 9210. (Truly love this machine and the OS!) Application Paths Issue dbeng8.exe - C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sybase9\dbeng8.exe HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\dbeng8.exe Thanks! Moderators Nergal Posted January 22, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 22, 2015 Do not remove everything. Follow the registry advice below my post in my signature. If you don't know, leave it; you won't really benefit from mucking with the registry and can cause harm ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
