rjo98
Was trying to clean up from a failed uninstall of some software, and noticed that running the reg cleaner, it didn't report issues with files that no longer existed but were still referenced in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\PnpLockdownFiles Is there a reason it doesn't check for broken pointers in here? Moderators Andavari Posted January 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 19, 2015 What OS are you using? Perhaps it's something to put into the suggestion box for them to implement. Also, that key "PnpLockdownFiles" doesn't exist on my system.
