rocky111
Is there a way to turn off the idiotic pop-up? I will probably be un-installing CCcleaner between uses if there is no way to shut it off.
Moderators Nergal Posted April 18, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 18, 2015 Turn off all three monitoring items in settings ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators mta Posted April 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 19, 2015 and I've seen PC's where the monitoring options have been unchecked but a CC monitoring process still stays in MSCONFIG. so it wouldn't hurt to double check it goes from there as well - which of course you can check from in CC, Tools, Startup. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
