What happens when Piriform adds something that's in winapp2.ini?

What happens when Piriform officially adds a software title to ccleaner but there are already options for that enabled from the winapp2.ini?   Does one override the other or do they both show up?

Just looking at the new release, it says it added manycam, but I thought there were already options for that in winapp2.ini.

They'll both show up, if they clean the same paths whichever is higher in the list alphabetically or langsecref wise will handle the cleaning. I try to rename or remove things when they're included in CCleaner so there's no overlap/confusion.

Remember, winapp2.ini is a community effort and not endorsed by piriform!

Normally it would ignore them in preference of the built-in rule; however because we've adopted a naming convention for the community template (adding a * to the end of the name), and it's often suggested to do so for those who maintain their own ini file as well, thus usually they will both show

If something has the capability of deleting the same exact unwanted files I'd think if doing an Analyse that it would list them twice.

And you would be correct

Even with filekeys! [steam Installers*] picks up some duplicate stuff sometimes because of the way the vcredist files are named, some of them get picked up by the wildcard, but all of them get picked up by the vc*redist* stuff. broadening the wildcard picks up some non junk though :(
