Bobbert
I've noticed that after running the analysis and then the cleaner that only a small portion of the MBs identified during analysis are being removed. For example....... The other day i ran CCleaner analysis and it reported that their were 136 MB of data to be removed. However, after running the cleaner, it reported that it had removed only 24 MB of data. This is not an isolated case, it happens every time. Why isn't it removing the full 136 MB identified during the analysis?
Moderators hazelnut Posted August 18, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 18, 2014 If you have 'only delete files in Windows temp files older than 24 hours' ticked in ccleaner Options..Advanced, try unticking it. CSGalloway
You might want to try running CCleaner in Safe mode.... could be some files are in use ....
Bobbert
Hazelnut, that was exactly what the problem was........thank you......thank you. I just ran CCleaner and it actually removed more MB than it found in the analysis. Maybe making up for what it missed before making this change?
