Whiplash
In past days I'm getting an error info when running Defraggler. It says this "This application failed to start because propsys.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem". After I press OK, defraggler starts and runs normally. But I would still like to fix that error to avoid such pop-up window.
Moderators hazelnut Posted August 23, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 23, 2014 Have you tried re-installing defraggler over the top of your install to see if it replaces the .dll? Moderators mta Posted August 23, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 23, 2014 propsys.dll is a Microsoft library, so I don't know it's relation to DF (something to do with search from the Product Name offered by it's file properties). if reinstalling the normal build of DF still produces the error, try the portable build instead. do you get the error simply starting DF, or when doing a particular function in DF, or just when hitting the Defrag button? Whiplash
I tried reinstalling already, of course. That didn't help. This happens only when starting DF. After I press OK, it opens normally with everything working well.

Whiplash
Now I did, and the same pop-up appears again. I guess I'll have to live with that. Anyway, this doesn't happen when running CCleaner or Speccy.

Moderators hazelnut Posted August 27, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 27, 2014 Just thinking out loud here... I wonder if Whiplash has Defraggler set to replace Windows Defragger or not in settings....
