Wishboy14
Ever since I downloaded the latest CCleaner update, I now get a little dialog box, once in a while, in the lower right hand corner saying that I have an update and to "click here." When I do, I am then told that I have the latest version on my computer.Question: How can I stop this dialog box from appearing - and automatically check for updates only when I log onto CCleaner manually?Thank you so much for your time and help. Moderators Nergal Posted November 17, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 17, 2014 This is a known bug The current fix is to uninstall and reinstall ccleaner, however it is my hope that the developers are currently working to fix the issue ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
