nolildo
Hello, I bought a new computer yesterday and when i install speccy for the first time, the motherboard temperature was between 120-123ºC, my PC is a Medion akoya p5321 e, the other items were always between 25-35ºC. what can i do? i'm going to go to the shop for a exchange. Temperature in the BIOS are: system temperature 30-40º and cpu temperature 30-40º. Thank you guys
kroozer
I doubt your mobo is ≥120C. Maybe it's just a no-signal reading cos your other temps are OK.
nolildo
maybe the sensor is broken?
kroozer
Don't be quick to blame your new pc. Speccy isn't perfect.Other members have enquired about temperature anomalies, and I usually suggest they search the web for second-opinion programs. nolildo
I tried other programs and all give me 120º on the mobo temp...
kroozer
120C is 248F. Does the box feel that hot? Open it up and place your hand inside. Or is it a Lap? Feel the exhaust.
nolildo
The pc is cold, and yesterday was turned on all night, in the BIOS on the health section, the system temperature is 40º more or less and cpu tmp the same
kroozer
Then not to worry, cos a 120C mobo would affect the other sensors and they would read higher. But it's your call. Go with your gut feeling.Gotta leave for class. Bye.
nolildo
I exchanged the PC for another and it still 120º mobo, i think speccy doesn't support my mobo
