bandit12345
System OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (SP1) Software: Defraggler 2.17.898 (64-bit) Issue: I am running CCleaner 4.11.4619 (64-bit) and when the program starts, there is no UAC for CCleaner, but when I run Defraggler the UAC pops up. What script does CCleaner use to bypass the Windows UAC so I can make a "No UAC" shortcut for Defraggler too?
Moderators Nergal Posted March 26, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2014 Set ccleaner to skip Open task scheduler in windows Find ccleaner's task Look in the arguements box and create a defraggler task with the the same argument. However I think I wad recently reported that it doesnt work with defraggler (but give it a shot and let us know) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
