Billybobjoe Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 I have spent several days cleaning bugs, including "Missing shared DLLs" leftovers from a long ago uninstalled program. I just ran CCleaner registry cleaner and many of these files with the boxes 'ticked' showed up in the scan My question: if I click "Fix selected issues" will it reinstall these items? Moderators mta Posted July 6, 2014 Moderators Share Posted July 6, 2014 No, CC (and its reg cleaner) removes stuff, not reinstalls stuff. It'll get rid of those missing DLL's left behind by some other uninstall process. And the usual warning of playing around with the Registry applies - User Beware. Backup now & backup often.It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
