Certain startup entries can't be deleted (only enabled, even though they are already)

I'm running Windows 8.1 x64 on an ASUS laptop.

I can't delete the start up entries that were installed by the OEM (they don't even show up in the task manager, which is weird). They show up greyed out and I can activate them (even though they are active), but deleting them results in an error message.

The message is in german, it translates to: "The system can't find the object. "

Everything that I installed I can change without a problem. Is there a solution to this?

Everything you see in the picture that is disabled, can only be enabled and not deleted. But everything is in fact enabled (as in: it's loaded at system start). You see?

I've tried msconfig, but it doesn't show the entries either, just like the Task Manager.

I really don't understand what's happening here. I've used CCleaner on dozens of systems and never once have I seen such behaviour.

- If you select a line then does the text on the buttons on the top right hand side show up black characters ? Sometimes the combination with other installed programs interferes with Ccleaner form working properly.

have you tried starting CC with Run as Administrator ?

Backup now & backup often.

You mean "Activate" and "Delete"? They show up black, yes.

- Run the program is Safe Mode. Perhaps then you can remove those entries ?

- Perhaps the permissions are modified and then one can't remove them. Try if running "Tweaking's windows Repair" (www.tweaking.com) will help to solve the issue.
