disport
It appears that Ccleaner moved over 30 thousand files from my external USB drive (T:) to the Recycle Bin. I stopped it before it finished. To test Ccleaner I right clicked on Empty Recycle Bin and then clicked Analyze. Sure enough it's going through all of my files on my T: drive. I've been using Ccleaner for many years. This started after I installed version 4. PC, Windows 8 Pro
Winapp2.ini
Unable to create with my own USB harddrive (D:\) Try changing the drive letter and running CCleaner again (really all I can think of) and making sure you don't have something along the lines of T:|*.* in your INCLUDES list winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Moderators Nergal Posted April 30, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 30, 2013 ccleaner by default doesn't touch external drives, and never ever moves to the recycle bin ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
